We’re looking for a high-performing Sales Development Representative (SDR) with at least two years of experience in outbound prospecting and pipeline generation.

You’ll be the first point of contact for potential customers, playing a critical role in driving growth by identifying, qualifying, and nurturing leads for our sales team.

This is a strategic role for someone who thrives on curiosity, persistence, and meaningful conversations.

What you’ll bring to the role.

  • 2+ years of SDR or BDR experience in a B2B SaaS or tech-driven environment.

  • Proven success in outbound lead generation and meeting KPIs.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • A preference for phone-first communication.

  • Familiarity with CRM tools like Dynamics, Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar.

  • A growth mindset, coachability, and a bias for action.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-autonomy environment.

 The following would be a bonus.

  • Experience selling into the Financial Services vertical.

  • Understanding of the full sales cycle and how SDRs contribute to revenue.

  • Understanding of a core sales process and/or methodology.

  • Experience in international markets.

Working hours

We work a basic 37.5 hour week between 9.00 and 17.30. 

We do require that staff are flexible if required to work extra hours to meet targets, but this is kept to a minimum. 

As a family friendly company, we do work with staff to support family activities if possible.  E.g. attending Sports Days without the need to take a full day’s holiday.

Whilst being primarily an office-based role there is some room for flexibility on an occasional basis by negotiation.

Location and office information

The role will be based at Vega Technology’s beautiful rural offices in Brimpton, which sits in the heart of the Thames Valley between Newbury and Reading but may involve travel to Guernsey.

The office offers a spacious modern open plan work area with electric sit/stand desks, the staff have the use of a “diner” area based on a contemporary take of a 50’s diner style with juke boxes and pinball machines, and the onsite gym.

As Brimpton is rurally located driving is essential. We have ample parking on site.
