Our software hasn’t stood still. Have your users?
Software evolves. Businesses change. Teams change too.
But the way people use their software can often stay much the same.
When someone first learns a system, they usually focus on the functions they need for their role at that particular time. Over the years, new functionality is introduced, processes improve and the business itself may develop considerably. Yet users can continue working in much the same way they always have.
That can mean useful functionality goes unnoticed, old workarounds remain in place and inefficient habits gradually become simply “the way we do things”.
People change too
It isn’t only the software that moves on.
People are promoted, change roles and take on new responsibilities. Someone who originally needed to understand only a small part of a system may later be responsible for managing a team, overseeing workflows, reporting, billing or compliance.
Their knowledge of the software does not automatically grow with them.
That is why training should not be thought of purely as something for new starters. Refresher training can help experienced users discover functions they have never used, revisit tools they may have forgotten and find better ways to complete everyday tasks.
Sometimes the simplest efficiency gain comes not from introducing another system or process, but from making better use of the technology you already have.
Invest in greater efficiency
A relatively small investment in training can help improve consistency, reduce unnecessary manual processes and give users greater confidence in the tools available to them.
Vega offers training courses adapted to the needs of your team or individual users, whether you need a broad refresher, support for particular roles or more focused training around specific areas of the system.
